Green Peas – 1 cup
Tomato huge size – 1
Onion – 2
Cinnamon stick – little piece
Cloves – 2
Red chillies – 2
Coriander seeds – 1 tablespoon

Fennel seed (Sombu) – 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp.

Oil – 2 tablespoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon or according to taste

Technique for making Karamani Masala

1. Wash and strip the external skin of peas.

2. Cleave the onions and tomatoes finely and keep it to the side.

3. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a kadai and fry red chillies, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick and cloves for few a seconds then add 1/2 how much cleaved onions fry and 1 no. hacked tomato pieces and fry for a couple of more seconds.

4. Permit the above blend to cool and afterward grind every one of the singed things (counting chillies, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cloves) to a smooth glue.

5. In a kadai add one tablespoon oil, add mustard seeds permit it to splutter, add fennel seeds (sombu) and fry it only briefly. Add the curry leaves and afterward add the excess cleaved onions and saute well till straightforward.
6. Add the green peas and saute well. Next add the tomatoes saute till soft and afterward add the ground glue, turmeric powder, salt and fry for a couple of moments.
